A coffin made of wooden planks
cut down from a haunted tree
is buried in the ashes of time
but rises from below the ground

a fingerless hand
breaks through the plank
a ghoul, a ghost
a human - not human
for it has no body
it rises to its feet
the dark eyes shine
its blind and screams

the mist covers the pitch-black sky
full of stars and light
the moon burns the creatures skin
it howls in pain

It speaks of anger and blasphemy
the monster returned from beyond the grave
