Although Death is the master of his own art
he cannot stand an ancient archangel
the duel lasts from dusk till dawn
and the dark lord is struck down.

The shadow leaves his dwindling corpse
and possesses Gabriel,
who falls to the ground
and screams in agony.

His eyes flicker in shining red
and his voice begins to twist.

“No… No...it can't be.
I am a descendant of the Lord.
I believe in the good of this world”

*evil laughter

“I am a descendant, too.
Who do you think brought me in this world?”

“No! That cannot be true!”

“You are too weak to imprison me.
The prophecy’s a lie, so is your life.
God is dead, I killed him with pride.
I rule this hopeless world for ages
and it will stay that way forever!”

Gabriel turns his sword
before he loses control of his body
he slits his throat, blood spills on the floor
and he collapses on the ground.

The Shadow of Death is lost in his halls
he cannot possess a new host to come
he screams in despair and curses the Angel
From now on he can't leave the dark land

and will never again
reach the shores
of the ancient No man's land.
